BiFolkal Kits

Each kit centers on a time or topic which has touched most people's lives. Each kit contains a media presentation, music, poetry, humor, and things to touch. Pieces can be used alone or together and all are designed to bring back memories and to encourage the sharing of experiences and ideas. The variety of materials in each kit makes it possible to select just one or two items and do a single program - or to combine the materials and ideas into a series of programs. These might be five half-hour programs for a week of lunchtime discussions or a month of weekly programs. The possibilities are limited only by your time and energy.

For use with groups of older adults at:

  • Nutrition Sites

Or for intergenerational programs with:

  • Scout Troops
  • Youth Groups
  • Families

BiFolkal Kits may be borrowed for a two week loan period through your local public library from the Outreach Services Department at the Pioneer Library System. Please email nherzig@pls-net.org or phone (585) 394-8260 if you would like to reserve a Books Plus kit.
